Dr. Robert Sreter
DDS, MS

Dr. Robert Sreter is a specialist in prosthodontics with over 40 years of experience in advanced dentistry, complex restorative treatments, and cosmetic dentistry. Born in Australia, he later immigrated with his family to the United States, where he began his academic and professional journey in dentistry.

In 1973, Dr. Sreter completed his Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Biology in New York, and in 1977 earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree. Shortly after, he established a private dental practice in New York together with his father, who was an ENT surgeon. Before immigrating to Israel, he also completed a Master of Science (M.S.) in Biology at New York University.

In 1983, Dr. Sreter moved to Israel and founded Sreter Clinic in Jerusalem, which over the years has become one of Israel’s leading clinics in prosthodontics, dental implants, cosmetic dentistry, full mouth rehabilitation, and complex restorative treatments. Between 1983 and 1989, he completed advanced studies at the prestigious Pankey Institute in the United States, one of the world’s most respected centers for advanced dental education.

Between 1989 and 1991, Dr. Sreter completed his specialty training in Prosthodontics at New York University (NYU), and during that period he was officially recognized in Israel by the Israeli Dental Association as a specialist in prosthodontics.

Throughout his career, Dr. Sreter has treated thousands of complex full mouth rehabilitation cases, including dental crowns, bridges, dental implants, implant-supported restorations, aesthetic smile rehabilitations, and advanced bite reconstruction, combining function, health, and aesthetics at the highest level.

Dr. Sreter served for many years as a clinical instructor and lecturer for postgraduate prosthodontic residents at the Hadassah Ein Kerem School of Dental Medicine, where he helped train future generations of specialists. In 1995, he was awarded the Outstanding Teacher Certificate in recognition of his contribution to dental education and specialist training.

In 2000, Dr. Sreter founded the Jerusalem Dental Forum (JDF) — the Jerusalem Center for Advanced Dental Education. Through this organization, he has spent many years organizing, leading, and mentoring study groups, advanced clinical seminars, and continuing education programs for dentists, both on a theoretical and practical level. He is widely recognized as a leading figure in advancing dental education and professional development in Israel.

Dr. Sreter was also among the first dentists in Israel to integrate digital dentistry and advanced technologies into his practice, including an in-house dental laboratory, CAD/CAM systems, digital scanning, computer-guided milling, and 3D printing, allowing for extremely precise planning and execution of complex restorative and aesthetic cases.
